Sad news.
Charlie's dad passed away this last Saturday.
Charlie is with his family and the kids and I will join them tomorrow.
Oh how he'll be missed!

I'm lame.

Beware when bald men come to visit......
Uncle Matt, Aunt Connie, Oliver and Avery came to visit. Charlie said "what do you think I would look like if I shaved my head like Matt"? Well, his sister was more than happy to oblige, with much giggling.

Charlie sneaks into the band....
Every year, The Disneyland Band puts on a musical performance for all of the local elementary schools at the Cerritos Performing Arts Center. Charlie managed to be a "sub" when Emily's school went 3 years ago. This year, for Andy's trip, he wrangled his way in as a "special guest". Both kids loved hearing the leader of the band ask the hundreds of children, is Emily/ Andy Peterson out there somewhere?. Your dad is gonna' play a song with us! They both felt like the luckiest kids on earth. I believe they just might be. Way to go dad!

Riddle me this........
Why did I ever think it was a good idea to have so many animals? Today, rabies shots for the dogs, all four of them. It took 1 friend and two cars. I am still fighting the urge to yell mush. So, what was Charlie doing during all of this? Playing 2 tv shows. Rachel Ray and Conan O'Brian. Who drew the short stick today?
