Andy and I spent 1 hour in the dark Saturday night,
playing board games by candlelight.
Emily was working......Baby-sitting for Deble.
Charlie was somewhere fancy, I just can't remember where.
I have to say, that was the best hour I have spent in a while.
We had such fun that we're implementing an official "Peterson's one hour, now power night" weekly.
I better get busy and get some more board games.
No power is fun.

This Saturday we are shutting off all of our lights from 8-9pm!
Why are we doing this?
To promote electricity conservation and thus lower carbon emissions.

Last year 2.2 million people shut off their lights for one hour to show their awareness towards global warming. If we can help to spread the awareness, we can become a part of a great cause that will help to preserve the earth!
